Soundarya Decorators Pvt. Ltd. a furniture manufacturing company, set up a new manufacturing facility on the outskirts of Chennai.
The campus extended over 15 acres. The first stage required 10,000 SQM of office space with infrastructure to add additional 7,500 SQM of production space at a later date.
Environmental appropriateness was an integral part of the brief. Eco aspects considered include the reduction in consumption of energy through passive solar design, water management and solid waste management.
