Shakti Executive Housing

The initial brief was to design an apartment block, but we subsequently convinced the clients that their requirements could better be accommodated in the form of row housing. The irregular shaped plot dictated the basic layout. The houses were arranged facing inward, overlooking a common lawn. The building steps back at each level forming verandas and terraces and thereby retains its human scale.
